There are even mountain bike trails through the woods close by our cycle-friendly campsite. Make sure to bring your bike when you come to stay with us, whether in our luxury glamping or classic camping accommodation
ROAD CYCLING
At Top of the Woods we are close to routes 47 & 82 of the National Cycle Network. There is amazing scenery in every direction, with good challenging country roads and very light vehicle traffic, stunning coastline, national parks and some proper hills!

FAMILY FRIENDLY CYCLING
On site, we have traffic free tracks for junior cyclists to zoom about in safety. The whole family can take the bikes into the adjacent woods, where there is good cycling tracks that range from flat to hilly.
Car Free Routes

2 miles - Cardigan to Cilgerran - The route runs along the old Cardigan to Cilgerran railway track & goes through the Welsh Wildlife Centre. Make a day of it and extend the route to visit Cardigan & Cilgerran castle (on low traffic roads)

8 Miles - Pantmaenog Forest, Rosebush, in the National Park

18 Miles - Brunel Trail (round trip) - Starts in Haverfordwest town centre, goes through Bolton hill woods where it follows Brunel's former Great Western railway line to Neyland.
MOUNTAIN BIKE/ OFF ROAD
Pembrokeshire offers plenty of opportunity for off-road cycling, with networks of bridleway accessed directly from Top of the Woods camping & glamping site or cycling in the Preseli mountains

Ffynnone Woods, with a network of forest dirt roads and a Bike Park at the Eastern edge of the woods with proper technical single track trails

10 miles NE of Carmarthen is Brechfa mountain biking base, with miles of purpose built trails, from family-friendly Green-graded trails, through to Black-graded trails for daredevils and expert
